Seasonal Taste & Odor Treatment Mode

During taste and odour events, additional UV lamps or chambers can be activated while hydrogen peroxide is introduced upstream of the UV system. This combination initiates an advanced oxidation process (AOP), generating powerful oxidation reactions that effectively break down compounds such as MIB and Geosmin, helping to improve water quality and consumer satisfaction.

Optimized Dose Delivery
A sophisticated, patented control system continuously optimises the UV advanced oxidation process (AOP) by automatically regulating hydrogen peroxide dosing, lamp power levels, and lamp operating status in real time. This intelligent control strategy minimises operating costs while ensuring optimal UV energy distribution and precise hydrogen peroxide application for consistent treatment performance.

Treatment-only Mode
During periods when seasonal taste and odour treatment is not required, the system's high-intensity, medium-pressure UV lamps can operate at reduced power levels to improve energy efficiency. The system has been validated through microbial testing under these operating conditions, generating performance data that confirms its ability to deliver the required UV dose for the effective inactivation of microorganisms, including Cryptosporidium and Giardia.

Compact, Hydraulically Efficient Chamber
The hydraulically efficient flow-through design, developed using advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modelling, minimises head loss and reduces pumping requirements. To maximise installation flexibility, all maintenance and service activities can be performed from a single side of the chamber, making the system well suited for confined spaces, restrictive pipe galleries, and installations adjacent to walls.

Automatic, Dual-action Lamp Sleeve Cleaning

The optional ActiClean® sleeve cleaning system combines mechanical wiping with an NSF/ANSI 60-certified cleaning gel to deliver highly effective fouling control and sleeve cleaning performance. Quartz sleeves and UV intensity sensors are automatically cleaned during operation, eliminating the need to interrupt treatment processes and helping to maintain optimal UV performance.

Stream™ is our integrated digital platform and support ecosystem, providing convenient access to the information, tools, and technical assistance you need—whenever and wherever it is required. The Stream App offers a personalised view of your UV system, allowing operators to monitor system status, receive real-time alarm notifications, and access guided troubleshooting resources.
 

To further enhance support capabilities, Stream Connection enables secure remote access for our Technical Assistance Center, allowing technicians to quickly diagnose issues, accelerate resolution times, and provide proactive assistance to help maximise system reliability and performance.
