Treating Filtered Effluent
Depending on site constraints and treatment plant design requirements, facilities producing filtered effluent may favour an in-pipe (closed-vessel) UV disinfection solution. The TrojanUVFit® provides a compact, energy-efficient, and highly effective option for non-potable water reuse applications. Its hydraulically optimised design minimises head loss and integrates seamlessly into the treatment process without disrupting system hydraulics. Available in multiple configurations, the system can accommodate a broad range of flow rates, with capacities of up to 7 MGD per chamber.

Compact Design and Installation Flexibility
The compact chamber footprint is well suited for indoor retrofit applications and offers flexible installation options, including parallel or series configurations, to accommodate system redundancy and future capacity expansion. All UV lamps and quartz sleeves are fully accessible through the chamber end cap, enabling convenient maintenance while allowing installation adjacent to walls, piping, or other equipment.


Robust Sleeve Cleaning System
The sleeve cleaning system is designed to minimise fouling on quartz sleeves, helping to maintain maximum UV transmittance and consistent treatment performance. Operating automatically at predetermined intervals, the system requires no operator intervention and performs cleaning without interrupting the disinfection process.
Reliable Performance and Easy Maintenance
UV lamps, quartz sleeves, lamp drivers, sensors, and the sleeve cleaning system are built on proven technologies with a strong track record across hundreds of installations worldwide. All internal components are readily accessible through the chamber end cap, which automatically deactivates the UV lamps when opened to enhance operator safety. Routine maintenance activities, including lamp replacement, can be completed quickly and efficiently, minimising downtime and maintenance effort.


3rd Party Validation
The TrojanUVFit® has undergone comprehensive microbial validation testing to verify its disinfection performance. This testing generated performance data confirming the system's ability to deliver the required UV dose for the effective inactivation of microorganisms, including Poliovirus, Escherichia coli (E. coli), and fecal coliform bacteria.
For water reuse applications in California, several TrojanUVFit® models have been approved by the California Department of Public Health for compliance with Title 22 water reuse requirements.
